SBOA Play School
Students and teachers visited 'Mother Teresa' Home for physically and mentally challenged people. Our students and staff donated dhal, clothes and bed sheets to them. Students interacted with the caregivers and mentally ill people to understand the various psychological and emotional, social and economic challenges faced by them.
‘Gift a Book programme’
Service to Humanity
The respondents are also much benefited and they interact with the students with curiosity to learn.
'Gift a Book Programme' is a creative programme in which, our students visited Corporation Schools and gifted books to the school library. Noble-minded came forward in rendering a helping hand to their friend in the other school and facilitated to enhance their reading skill
Budding teachers from std. V and VI volunteered themselves gladly to offer help by teaching adults. This includes implementing learning to the service staff in the school and teaching aged people at Melakuilkudi, a nearby village. Students gain more insight on their social and civic responsibility in this process of experiential learning.

Adult Literacy
A team comprising teachers and children visited Claretian Mercy home at Alagusirai. The home takes care of aged persons and abandoned infants. They also visited the Bethshan school for Mentally Challenged. The students could understand their social responsibility.
